Couplets, completed in December of 2009, is a work for solo piano in three short movements. Each movement is dedicated to, and written on the names of, a couple who celebrated a milestone in 2009. The first and last movements are to friends who wed; the middle movement is to my parents, who celebrated their fiftieth anniversary. Approx. duration = 4:00 |
